I'm hoping to visit some of the Universities in Washington when I visit there. I feel like a week will not be enough for me. I know I'm going to just want to stay there!

I have to see about my credits thus far, and how many I'm looking to obtain next semester and the summer semester and decide if I want to start my Bachelors by fall 2010, or wait until next fall, and make sure my GPA is perfect and I have a good looking resume. I'm looking to apply to either UCF, FSU, or UW to begin my undergrad degree. We shall see!

Oh, Merry Christmas!

8 hour shifts every day at a mall starbucks? For an entire shift I will not move more than two feet. Just stand in front of the bar, lather, rinse, repeat. I wreak of coffee. Yummy.

I booked my trip to Seattle a few days ago! Yes I am going to be there from the 7th-12th of January! SEATTLE! My dream city! The place I've always wanted to live in, but have never been to before. I couldn't be more excited. Plane tickets are too cheap right now, ya'll, nows the time to fly! Round trip my ticket was $230 with taxes and everything. And I bought it on three weeks notice. I might be neeeding to leave the country in the summer or something. =] I've always wanted to visit Spain. =]

When I was eleven years old, I was dragged to South Carolina for a "vacation." I had to meet an old friend of my mother, her husband and their two kids.

While chatting with the two kids, they suddenly asked me out of the blue whether or not I believed in Santa. I never did at any age, told them as much, and they proceeded to interrogate me over whether or not I ever got presents, how I could possibly NOT believe when he's "everywhere," started calling me a no-good "yank" and finally spat on me. When the parents stepped in, they got into a debate with MY parents over whether or not it was "right" to teach children to believe in Santa.

Their mother asked my mother if I believed in God. The father admitted that he believed in Santa until he was fourteen. They said that telling kids about Santa added magic and wonderment to their world and couldn't believe I was ever "deprived" of that.

I'm reminded of this incident every single year, and can't help but wonder when exactly those kids finally learned the truth, how they felt about it, and whether or not they remember making such jackasses of themselves. Pondering this gives me the kind of spiteful warmth that the Grinch must have felt when he stole all those ting-tinglers.
